Measure key areas in your home and common destinations—doorways, hallways, elevators, and tight corners—to confirm your chosen model will navigate comfortably through your spaces.
Identify a dedicated location for storage and charging. This space should have convenient access to a standard electrical outlet for regular battery charging.
Contact your bank to confirm your credit card has sufficient daily and per-transaction limits to process your purchase without interruption.
How to Place Your Order
We offer two convenient ordering methods:
Online: Visit the Avantis Canada website, browse our scooter collection, select your model, add it to your cart, and complete secure checkout using a credit card, debit card, or digital wallet like PayPal.
By Phone: Call our team and we'll place your order directly using your credit or debit card information.
Your payment is processed in full immediately, and you'll receive an automated email confirmation that serves as your receipt and invoice.

Phase 2

Step 2: Processing & Shipping Timeline

Your order moves through two distinct phases before arrival:

Processing Phase (Warehouse to Carrier)

In-stock scooters typically ship within 1-3 business days. Pre-order items (scooters arriving soon) can be reserved—we'll provide estimated arrival windows that may adjust based on supplier schedules. Once inventory arrives, standard processing applies.

Transit Phase (Carrier to Your Door)

You'll automatically receive an email with tracking information once your scooter leaves our warehouse. Standard delivery takes approximately 4-10 business days. Due to size and specialized routing, our fully enclosed models may require 5-20 business days for delivery.

A local delivery agent will contact you before arrival to schedule a convenient delivery appointment.

Phase 3

Step 3: Delivery & Inspection

Your scooter arrives carefully crated and is delivered by a local freight partner. Most deliveries include curbside drop-off with power tailgate service, while smaller models may be positioned near your entrance using pallet handling equipment.

What Delivery Includes: Transportation and placement of your crated scooter.

What Delivery Does Not Include: Unboxing, assembly, demonstrations, or removal of packaging materials.

If You Notice Crate Damage

Accept the delivery to avoid delaying warranty resolution. Photograph any exterior damage to the shipping container—remember that crate damage doesn't necessarily mean product damage, as protective crating is designed to absorb impact.

Carefully unpack your scooter and inspect it thoroughly. Take photos or videos documenting any product damage you discover.

Contact Avantis Canada customer service immediately if you identify damage. While shipping damage is rare, we resolve all confirmed issues with replacement parts and appreciate your patience as we assess and ship necessary components.

Step 4: Unboxing & Setup

Getting Your Scooter Ready

Carefully remove all packaging materials—a pro tip is to cut boxes along the corners and flatten outward; having a second person assist makes this easier.

Remove any shipping brackets or protective framing from your scooter.

Locate your owner's manual and review the assembly instructions, operation procedures, maintenance guidelines, and safety information.

Follow the step-by-step assembly instructions provided in your manual, then fully charge your scooter before first use.

Every Avantis Canada mobility scooter includes comprehensive coverage for parts failures, manufacturing defects, and workmanship issues. This warranty excludes normal wear items like tires and damage from accidents or improper maintenance.

Warranty parts are shipped directly to you. You can arrange installation yourself, with family members, a local technician, or a service provider of your choice.
